On August 5, 2000, I did a brief tour of hotels in Santa Monica. I went to a few that were near my apartment, and near the ocean since that is one of the things that makes this place so cool (both figuratively and literally). Please call the hotels to confirm the prices... Don't laugh too much at the pictures, I took some of them from the car while I was driving during a busy tourist weekend...

Here is what I found...

The Fairmont Miramar Hotel
101 Wilshire Boulevard
(310) 576-7777

This place is sweet... it is where Clinton likes to stay...
